1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using UMD Pro ("the Software", "the Service"), you ("User", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use UMD Pro.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and UMD Pro ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
UMD Pro is a desktop application for Windows that allows users to download publicly available media content from supported online platforms for personal, offline use. The Software provides tools to:
- Download video and audio content from supported platforms
- Select preferred media formats and quality levels
- Manage download history and saved files
- Access premium features via paid subscription plans
UMD Pro is a tool — it does not host, store or distribute any third-party media content.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use UMD Pro. By using the Software, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent to use UMD Pro.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use UMD Pro only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national and international laws and regulations. You agree not to:
- Download, copy or redistribute copyrighted content without explicit permission from the rights holder
- Use UMD Pro for commercial redistribution of downloaded media
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the Software
- Use the Software to download content that is illegal, harmful or violates third-party rights
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass any digital rights management (DRM) systems
- Use automated scripts or bots to exploit the Software or its services
- Share your account credentials with others
UMD Pro is intended for personal, non-commercial use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Intellectual Property
UMD Pro and all associated software, design, code, trademarks, logos and content are the exclusive property of UMD Pro and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You acknowledge that any media content downloaded using UMD Pro remains the intellectual property of its respective rights holders. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of downloaded content complies with applicable copyright laws.
6. User Accounts
Some features of UMD Pro require you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
UMD Pro offers optional paid subscription plans ("Premium Plans"). By purchasing a Premium Plan, you agree that:
- All payments are processed through our authorised payment providers
- Subscription plans are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of purchase
- Plans do not auto-renew — you must manually renew to continue premium access
- Prices are quoted in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes in your jurisdiction
- Premium access is tied to your registered account and is non-transferable
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the digital nature of the Software and immediate plan activation, all sales are generally final. However, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
- The Software failed to function as described and we were unable to resolve the issue
- You were charged incorrectly or duplicate charges occurred
- The plan was not activated within 48 hours of confirmed payment
To request a refund, contact us at support@umdpro.site within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are at our sole discretion.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
UMD Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Software will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses
- Any specific platform will remain supported at all times
- Downloaded files will meet any particular quality standard
Platform support may change at any time due to third-party website updates, which are outside our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UMD Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription plan.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to UMD Pro at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us or third parties.
Upon termination, your licence to use the Software ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated via the application or email. Your continued use of UMD Pro after any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
